From a sketch on a beer mat to cohort 003.

VisorOptics is a prescription visor system that fits inside an existing motorcycle helmet. BRIER took the concept from initial sketch to cohort 003 production. Mount design, optical insert tooling, validation programme, and supplier handover.

— What we offer

Four ways to engage,
one engineering team.

BRIER's clients arrive at different points on their project's life. Sometimes with a sketch. Sometimes with a broken part and no drawings. Sometimes with a CAD library that needs putting in order. The studio is built to start from anywhere and finish on the same bench.

SVC · 01 Most engaged

Turnkey engineering.

Concept generation, detailed design in SOLIDWORKS, FEA validation, prototyping, and supplier-managed production. One team, one accountability line, one deadline.

Typical engagement6–14 weeks
SVC · 02 3D scan

Reverse engineering.

Capture geometry from physical parts. 3D scanning to ±0.05mm, reconstruction to a fully parametric SOLIDWORKS model, ready to manufacture or modify.

Typical engagement2–6 weeks
SVC · 03 FEA · CFD

Validation and analysis.

FEA, CFD, tolerance-stack analysis, and DFM review. Catch the problems on the screen, before they cost a tooling spend to fix.

Typical outputSigned-off report
SVC · 04 Implementation

PDM implementation.

SOLIDWORKS PDM Pro rollouts for engineering teams whose drawing library has outgrown the shared drive. Migration, training, and handover.

Typical rollout4 weeks
BRIER are the rare consultancy who'd rather say "this won't work" on a Tuesday than ship a beautiful drawing on a Friday. It saved us a tooling spend, twice.

need solving?

Send a sketch, a CAD file, a photo, or just a description. We come back within five working days with a scoped, fixed-price quote. We turn down work we can't do well. Most projects we take on, we deliver in under fourteen weeks.
